Daily Up North Deal — Traverse City Area

Today’s strongest deal stack is split between produce and yard season. If you’re grocery shopping first, Oleson’s has a genuinely solid produce opener this week: strawberries (16 oz.) or blackberries (6 oz.) are 2 for $5, and 5 lb. Idaho russet potatoes are $1.99 in the current ad running April 12–18. That’s the kind of deal that actually changes a meal plan, not just your mood in aisle seven.

For home and garden, Meijer has the sharper practical deal today. Scotts Nature Scapes mulch is $3.00 a bag through April 21, and several lawn-start products are discounted too, including Scotts Turf Builder Grass Seed Sun & Shade 2.4 lb for $16.49 and Scotts GrubEx 14.35 lb for $19.99. If your yard looks like winter overstayed its welcome, this is the lane today.

Home Depot Traverse City is still in its Spring sale window through April 22, so it is worth watching for project buys, but the cleanest hard-price garden wins I could verify this morning were stronger at Meijer than Home Depot.
